Oh. My. Fucking. God. I can’t stand this anymore.

Blackwater, in May, 2005, dropped CS gas grenades on American soldiers and Iraqi civilians (SF Gate). CS gas, better known as tear gas, is apparently, highly controlled. Soldiers have to get permission from the President of the United States to employ it. Soldiers, always imperiled by laws. Not Blackwater, America’s mercenaries.

I went into the CS chamber when going through basic training. It was used to test our mask confidence. We coughed, our eyes burned, our skin burned. The toxic smoke billowed from a flickering candle in the middle of the room. We walked around in a circle, prayed we’d be close to the door when they finally let us out. One of us freaked out, punched a drill sergeant. “Let me the fuck out of here,” he screamed. They laughed, threw his mask, made him go back in to get it.

Blackwater claims they didn’t know they were throwing CS, claims they threw smoke. But CS grenades have a bright red band on the bottom. Morons, and only morons, wouldn’t know.

Good for the mercenaries. The Republic is lost.
